From 2000 to 2007, I worked on Afisha, an urban lifestyle and city listings magazine, first as a designer, then as the St.Petersburg edition's art director and, finally, as a design director. The fun of it ranged from laying out the pages for 36 hours in a row to redesigning the entire magazine, and from having 4 bosses to being a boss of 14. In 2012 I took the position of Head of Media Design at Afisha and returned to creative directing of the magazine and its covers. Shortly I've conducted the most significant in years redesign of the magazine. The following selection includes covers both from 2012 and from 2002–03.
